Yesterday I had an interesting conversation with someone about @PerryBelcher. I jokingly put a comment on his facebook video about him spending some time on a boat with his friends.

A few hours later this person on twitter posted a video up about him, saying that in March 2008 he had been arrested and found guilty of internet fraud. I had a look at the video and lo and behold it was Perry Belcher in the news item, all his assets were being seized etc.

Then Perry posted up a video on December 2008 giving his side of what happened.

It was regarding fake medicines. This person on twitter wanted me to re-tweet this video and said that I would not because I don’t go round spreading negativity around the internet.

There are some saying he’s ripped them off for their affiliate earnings, only one side of the story is being told here, we don’t know anymore background than that.

I am not defending what Perry Belcher may or may not have done in the past, however I let things stay in the past. I have only known Perry via twitter at the beginning of this year and I was blissfully unaware of what had transpired.

To me mostly everyone deserves a second chance, he’s got his second chance, time to let sleeping dogs lie I told this individual. It is so difficult to convey your thoughts in 140 characters or less without appearing to spam the twitter stream.

To me Perry Belcher seems to be a decent guy, that opinion will not change because he’s been convicted. Unless he does something directly to me to put my nose out of joint, then again that opinion will not change.

Call me an idiot or whatever you will. It might appear to be a character flaw to some seeing the good in everyone I come across. I have come across people that I cannot see the good in at all, so I’m not blinkered to the world around me.

Give the dog a chance. Can a leopard change its spots? I like to think so.

I guess you’ve all heard by now that the founders of Twitter are planning a TV series. According to Digital Spy Demi Moore isn’t too happy with the idea:

Demi Moore angry at Twitter over TV show

Do you agree?

I think it’ll be a great idea, however they’d better get the server infrastructure in place to cope with the increased demand and throw some more people into their support team.

Let me know in the comments or on twitter.

Gary Vaynerchuk is excited about the pending release of his first ever business book and he’s promoting it via the #crushit hashtag on twitter.

Then someone comes along and slaps him on the wrists for “over promoting”.

This is what Gary Vaynerchuk posted:

You should never apologise for promoting something.

It’s like the folks who complain about a TV programme, use the remote control to change the channel or turn it off.

You don’t have to read the #crushit tweets, no one is forcing you to read them.I know the person that complained directly to Gary did it sincerely, but come on get out there and crush it yourself.

Be true to yourself do not apologise for who you are.

Okay hands up who stole my energy? I was fine yesterday and early this morning.

Now suddenly I cannot keep my head from nodding and my eyes from closing. Could it be something to do with my aching muscles/joints and sore left foot?

Or am I having withdrawal symptoms from being in Birmingham on Wednesday?

I have to tell you I love Birmingham. :)

This is the first time I’d actually been into an apple store, so I took the opportunity to go in and have a browse around, all out of my price range at the moment, nice to see the apple gadgets in the flesh and the Mac Mini is tiny, never realised how small it was.

I’ll be returning to Birmingham on 11th June, so will have another look inside.

Okay maybe not boo mania, but 2 audioboos to share with you today.

If you want to chat to me on MSN, don’t just rock up and add me, email me saying you want to hook up via MSN so then I get some advanced warning of who is adding me and why.

Sorry to the person who added me to their MSN this morning and you see this blog post, I’ve denied your request because I don’t know who you are. If you want to email me, go ahead it’s wizzardsblog at googlemail dot com.

Obviously change the format of the email address before emailing me ;)

I have decided to change the look of my blog. I hope you like it, thanks to Perry Belcher for tweeting the link to the article I got this theme from.

Here’s the article:

There are plenty of folks out there that just don’t “get” twitter, open your minds to the benefits that twitter can deliver, there are so many out there what ever your view point is.

Is it a social networking site? Yes it can be

Is it a medium for advertising? Yes it can be

You get the picture?

If you’re trying to convince folks that twitter is the best thing since sliced bread was invented, don’t, let them work it out for themselves. You will just tear your hair out trying. Just give them the twitter link tell them to use their common sense and leave them to it.

This has been doing the rounds on the internet, quite a few influential folks have been mentioning this on their blogs and on their twitter account, so I decided to give it a whirl to see what all of the fuss is about.

So I decided to plug in my date of birth: 20th March 1974.

This is what it came up with:

Some interesting info in there, I urge you to check it out and see what other nuggets of information it comes out with.
