I spoke too soon the gnat farted. Told you those gnat farts were powerful.

Wow someone at BT must have happened across my earlier post with regards to the HomeHub 2.

Here’s a direct link to the tweet.

I give them kudos for responding.

However there is one underpinning factor to my not being able to use a wired connection to the Hub. That is I do not own the house I live in, it is a victorian terraced house, so drilling holes to feed cables would not go down too well with the landlord.

In the meantime I have changed the wireless channel the hub sits on and touch wood, the connection is stable, however a nat farting could change this tomorrow.

I shall keep you posted.

Why? I would have thought along with quite a few others would have thought they would install a video camera on the iPod Touch? Customers don’t want a camera on the the Touch?

Methinks not.

Logic to me dictates that the iPod Nano is for your music and music videos, not videoing your mates auditioning for “You’ve Been Framed!” The video camera would have been a natural fit on the Touch.

As with all Apple products in the end it some how works out right.

Only caught a few minutes of the new look “Watchdog” on BBC1 last night. I wonder what they offered Anne Robinson to lure her back to present the show?

I like the look of the new set, it now looks like they once more have a home instead of camping out in the office for 3 or so seasons.

I’ll make an effort to catch next week’s episode.

In Gary Vaynerchuk (@garyvee http://twitter.com/garyvee) stylee, are you crushing it today?

I’m in the process of setting up my 1st project, an online book store. It will hopefully go live by the end of next week. Then I will attempt to give it a lick of paint and make it look good.

However at this moment, I’m heading out for some breakfast.

On a parting note, don’t forget to pre-order Gary’s latest book, more details at:

Can someone name me alternative uses for a BT HomeHub 2 other than using it for a wireless connection?

The reason I ask is, it is useless as a wireless connection device. The old v 1 hub was far better. The only downside is I cannot consign it to the dustbin as it isn’t my hub.

I think I’m going to take a hit in the next few weeks and buy a non BT router to access the internet. Not a big as hit, when I eventually leave this shared house, it’s coming with me :D

So give me some alternative uses in the comments below and over at my other blogs which this post will be auto posted to at:

Looks like things are finally starting to turn around in Stafford. Shops that have lain empty for over 18 months are actually being fitted out ready for new tenants.

A brand new build 12 months ago built up from the old “Courts” furniture store, has finally got another retailer taking up residence. It might be a Spar shop, but hey it’s a step in the right direction.

Now lets get the old Riverside development kick started then things will start to look really good.

Please stop complaining that your online business is going down to the tubes because you are solely relying on ebay to sell your goods. Get a domain name, some hosting, build a website and sell your goods through that as well. Look at amazon and play.com also depending on the type of goods you are selling.

Go down to your local car boot sale, pay a tenner for your stall and flog your goods there as well. You can make a profit on car boots if you pick the correct goods to sell.

Then give your punters your business card with your website address on it. Offer them free p&p or some other offer when they place their first order on-line.

It isn’t rocket science, it’s called common sense.

I’ve been reading today that the economy in the UK is starting to improve slightly. Which is good news, however it would seem now it’s down to the people to start spending and driving the economy forward again. It’s true that retail business can only do so much, now it’s down to us to start putting our hands in our pockets again.

Let’s start feeling good about ourselves again and start driving the economy to recovery. Time to stop being british and moping around crying “Woe is me”. Let’s get on the recovery train and get to that light at the end of the tunnel.

Ok, survived the first night of college and I have to say it went quite well. I was a little rusty on the old long division without a calculator, other than that everything was fine.

Now they’ve removed certain chunks from the exam, in the next couple of weeks I’m thinking of attempting one of the higher GCSE Maths papers.  My brain does hurt a little, a while since I used it in anger :D
