I seem to have been falling behind on many things lately, I could say it was me being extremely busy, but on this occasion a bit of laziness is starting to creep in. It’s a new week time to re-focus.

It completely sucks. The implementation is horrible. Having to dedicate a whole forum just for comments is ludicrous, I see no other content management system out there with that requirement.
Another thing that really irks me is the articles and comments count towards your post count, if that doesn’t encourage post count padding I don’t know what does.
Sure there’s option to have the comments forum not count towards the post count, that’s been in there for as long as I can remember, still doesn’t get around the fact that there is no option to prevent articles from adding to the overall post count.
Having a seperate “Articles:” line on the postbit for me may go some way to fixing this little problem.
I could say a whole lot more, but I think that is enough to chew on for the moment.

Okay I’m calling all of you out that are mocking or grumbling about the DM spam they’ve been getting yesterday and today. Why not be helpful and @reply them, they may not realise that their accounts have been compromised.
It takes about a minute to be helpful in this regard.

Shall I just start with a blank canvas and pretend that I haven’t worked for the past 19 years and I’ve been at school all of this time? A 35 year old trapped in the body of a 16 year old.
When you get older the job hunt gets harder. Ah well, onwards and upwards.

Oh yes it is, another start to another great week, can you believe we’re already into the 2nd week of November already.
I may have some good news to share with you all later or commiserations.
I really like the DVLA’s new email help desk system. I sent a query in regarding my photocard and counterpart, I had to select a standard query which I got an automated reply from telling me what to do. I found that a little annoying and does waste a bit of time as it didn’t really answer my question. So I replied back with their email reference via their online reply form and got a reply back within 3 hours.
I suggest they cut out the first step and let you type out a full initial query instead of having to wait for a reply before you can reply back with further details.
However a great improvement, keep up the good work.

Yes, I’m finally back from the wilderness. Fingers crossed the gremlins have been banished. I have got so much to catch up on it is unbelievable.
