As you are probably aware Popcap Games have a facebook exclusive edition of Bejeweled called “Bejeweled Blitz”.

They have added new things to the game to make it even better to play,  however when they do it, they screw the pooch on the server side and they get lots of complaints.

Instead of just disabling the game, they disable their whole page, which prevents people from interacting. Why not just disable the game and still give your fans a chance to interact?

Sure they’ve  got the 50% offer on again, but they can’t keep offering it, people aren’t going tocontinue taking them up on it.  Find some other way to keep people happy.

Okay so we’re out of recession. 0.1% growth in the last quarter of 2009 still isn’t much to celebrate though? With that much growth it can be easy to start slipping back.

We’re in a real mess folks, it’s going to take at least a decade to sort this whole mess out. Who ever is in power after the next election they’ve got a tough job on their hands.

I’ll be a lot happier when I’ve got a job, then I can tell you if life is getting any easier.

No wonder this world is going to the dogs,  some people have no sense of humour:

Get a grip before the world really becomes an unhappy place to live.

Dear Facebook,

Why when a security question is added to your account,  why are you not permitted to change the security question on your account?

There are very serious reasons why people may want to change their security question which I’m sure as a social media, online company you are aware of.

This to me seems a little short sighted by yourselves. I hope in the advances you make in 2010, you put this high on your list of priorities.

After reading Chris Pirillo’s latest Lockergnome that landed in my inbox about your founder’s speech,  there are still users out there that expect a certain amount of privacy.  Not everyone out there has the best of intentions, so lets not throw the privacy baby out along with the bathwater just yet and make it easy for your users to feel safe.

Yours puzzled

Had my temporary denture fitted today, had it for about 6 hours, still not convinced about it,  seems a little lose. I’ll give it a full day’s wear before phoning up the Dental Hospital for an earlier appointment.
