Okay so we’re out of recession. 0.1% growth in the last quarter of 2009 still isn’t much to celebrate though? With that much growth it can be easy to start slipping back.

We’re in a real mess folks, it’s going to take at least a decade to sort this whole mess out. Who ever is in power after the next election they’ve got a tough job on their hands.

I’ll be a lot happier when I’ve got a job, then I can tell you if life is getting any easier.

Mervyn please find something positive to say about the British economy. It’s good news that the ONS is suggesting that the economy shrank less than thought in the previous quarter according to this article from the Motley fool.

Yes we are all well aware of the struggle ahead, being realistic is great, however there is only so much the general public can take, we need a shot in the arm, not a kick in the teeth.
