If you didn’t know already I play World of Warcraft, been playing on and off since 2005. Great game to play, it is the only game I play on my PC.

Now on to the title of this post.

1. I like to play World of Warcraft when I like, not when a guild feels like playing, most of the time at awkward times, no draconian rules of when you should play, this is after all a game, not a life changing experience.

2. Politics, always rears its ugly head, a “clique” builds up within a guild and no one can speak their mind without being jumped on or being booted out of the guild.

One thing I despise is me busy questing,  when out of nowhere a guild signature form pops up, cut it out, it’s rude, ask first.

If I want to join a guild I will post on the official blizzard forum, or one of the other fan sites. Or hey I’ll form my own and ask you before I present you with my guild form to sign.

Don’t care if there are bunch of 13 years old playing the game, don’t your parents teach you manners?

Just got back from the event, another good event, lots to see and do.

I really enjoyed the Super Theatre (I won’t give too much away).  Suzi Perry looks great in a catsuit :)

Premium seats aren’t really worth the extra £2.50 unless you’re allocated in Block A. Last year I paid a fiver to sit in Block E and had a far better view of the stage. I took some photos of the Super Theatre, but most of them will be of people’s heads and not of the stage. The challenges for those unfortunate to win the phone and text game were a lot better this year and offered more comedy value :)

I really need to lose some weight to stay the full course, I’m completely worn out.

The price of the food was astronomical, it would have been cheaper for me to pop out of the event and go to subway which I only discovered was right outside when I came to leave.

Nvidia please produce a set of those 3d glasses that can fit over spectacles for those of us that have to wear them, other than that it was a brilliant 3D demo. Well worth a future investment for 3D gaming and movie watching.

@robosteel‘s metal sculptures look even more awesome in the “flesh”, took a couple of photos of those which I’ll post up on flickr later.

Just been reading through my digitalspy daily email and came across this article. Looks interesting that the game engine is going to be re-built from the ground up. My only worry is will this prove to be a memory leak out of the box like Civilisation IV was? Or this new game engine going to be more efficient?
