Well almost, another 19 or so days to go. It looks like it’s going to be another warm day.
Definitely not the weather for sitting in front a computer all day.
What do you do when the sun is out?
Every single day I walk down to my local tesco you have to dodge empty burger cartons, pizza boxes, sandwich wrappers and food.
Also inconsiderate dog owners letting their dogs crap on the pavement.
Come on Stafford Borough Council do something about it.
Yes it’s the 1st of June, we will soon be at the halfway point of the year already. Time flies when you’re having so much fun.
In my case a rollercoaster ride of thrills, spills and horror moments. Making me yearn for a quick escape from the hustle and bustle of town life.
So what does June hold for me? Only time will tell.
Had some problems with the vps that all my sites are hosted on, mainly wordpress updates. Thanks to helpful staff at knownhost, my problems have been solved.
I’ll hopefully have a more productive day today, not easy to try and get anything done with a dodgy connection. I can’t wait until I move then I’ll be in full control again.
Okay this has been the butt of many a joke for the past few days, myself included making the jokes.
I’m not posting this entry to mock any religion, just pointing out the absurdity of believing in something so intently to the exclusion of any rational thought.
I read another article today that many people had spent their life savings in anticipation of judgement day/the end of the world.
I’m not going to take issue with the judgement day part. My issue is with the end of the world.
It is not up to us humans to determine when the end of the world is going to be, that is natures call, you know, nature that causes storms and earthquakes. The sun still has many billions of years of energy left to keep the earth going.
Sure as humans we mess around with the fabric of the planet by pumping out these emissions that react with the ozone layer and pumping out more CO2 than the planet can handle. That isn’t going to cause the end of the world.
Sure it might wipe us out eventually as the dominant species on the planet, the earth isn’t going to suddenly going to get ripped apart a la “The Day after Tomorrow” and “2012″. Even if it does, the earth is still going to be in existence, ready for what ever species of life comes along next to become dominant on the planet.
The world doesn’t end when the human race is wiped out. Amino acids and tiny bacteria were around before we even came into existence. They will once more rule the earth until once again they evolve over millions of years, will humans rule the world again? I very much doubt it as nature has a tendency to learn and whole different species will come into dominance, maybe one that is more in tune with the nature of the planet, heck they may not even be humanoid.
Nothing wrong with humans making up belief systems, it gives us something to look forward to, gives us order when there might otherwise be chaos. But let’s not delude ourselves into thinking that the world will end with us.
Who stole Tuesday?
I was going to post yesterday, but I was rather busy with getting my store up and running. Also learning CSS at the same time slows you down quite a bit.
It’s been a crap day weather wise, but hey we wouldn’t be british if we didn’t grumble about the weather at least once a day.
I’ve started using facebook a lot more lately, not that I have really anything interesting to say. I’ve been sucked back into playing those games, which I said I’d not play again, but once you get into them they are rather fun. 
I’m still on the job hunting treadmill. I am still registered as self employed so if any good paying things come in I can jump straight on them without having to go out and sit behind a desk and do the the 9 to 5 grind. Inevitably I am going to have to find gainful employment. I’m looking at trying to re-train in different areas, but that of course takes money. If I were guaranteeed to get places on courses paid for then I’d be retraining like a shot.
So instead I’m picking up new knowledge searching the internet and looking for any opportunities that may arise.
My tip of the day is if someone comes in swinging then duck.
I’d originally drafted this whilst my connection was down.
This blog entry might actually be posted a day after I have written it due to my internet connection refusing to work, so somethings I say in here may have already happened. Or things may have changed completely.
If you are reading this in the future then I have been living in a cave for the past year or so and I haven’t realised the connection has been restored and this post has automatically been posted. There is no need to send help, the connection will have probably died again and I’ve moved to mars.
Don’t think much of the red sky though, way too much dust and the company is nothing to write home about. I thought I’d seen some signs of intelligent life but realised I’d been walking around in circles for several days, following my own footprints, not saying that I’m not intelligent, thought there was another intelligent being to hold a meaningful conversation with. I could start talking to myself, it might pass the time of day.
