Packard Bell Diamond 1200+ Scanner and Windows XP

I was trawling through the internet a few weeks ago and saw a whole lot of old posts (circa 2005)  from people saying that their Packard Bell Diamond 1200+ scanner no longer works in Windows XP and some were forced to bin them.

From the mustek link posted you select the drivers for Mustek Bearpaw 1200 CU plus.  Select the Logo driver at the top of the page, download and install and hey presto your scanner should be fully functioning again.

How do you read your emails?

What I mean is in which order?

I’ve always gone from the first email on the page to the last, however this means that I always read the earliest email I’ve received last. I’ve thought that this is actually the wrong way to do it. Read them in the order they come in.

So what I’ve started to do today is to read the email at the bottom of the unread list, as I know that is the email that I have received whilst I was asleep.

Dipping my toes back into the IT water

I’ve decided to dip my toes back into the IT water. I’ll be starting off with the A+ 2009 objectives then working my way up. Getting the A+ done will be the easy part, finding employment will be the killer.
