I bought “Law Abiding Citizen” on DVD earlier today, just finished watching it. It was as good as the trailer I saw last year.
One mans fight against the judicial system that so badly let him down, real eye for an eye movie.
I recommend you buy it.

I went to see Angel and Demons at the Showcase Cinema in Walsall. I had arrived there quite early so I had a choice to make, Wolverine was about to start, or I could take my time and wind down and relax from the drive and watch Angel and Demons instead.
I chose Angels and Demons instead, I think I made a wise choice, I wouldn’t have enjoyed it otherwise.
I don’t believe in religion of any form, however I love these kind of movies, a lot of history mixed in.
The pace was good throughout, good sound as usual from the Showcase chain.
A nice little twist at the end, I always love a movie with a good twist at the end.
I felt that the female lead was just there to make up the numbers, she did not convince me at all. The villian was ok, pity we didn’t get much of a background on this guy, what actually made him tick, by villian I don’t mean the one revealed towards the end.
Would I rush out and see this movie again? Probably not.
However saying that this is going to be added to my DVD collection.
The time has finally come to reveal the movie that I went to see this morning, this calls for a drum roll…
I finally decided to watch “Angels and Demons”.
A review to follow.
I posted this audioboo earlier today, I got to the cinema a little early, so I had a chance to catch either of these.
Take a listen to it and guess which one I went for in the comments. I’ll also tweet this out.
I’ll post up what I ended up watching after 8pm GMT.
After watching the trailers before the main Star Trek feature, 2 films jumped out at me that I would like to see:
Terminator Salvation and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
The trailers looked absolutely brilliant, again if the sounds was decent at my local cinema was better the trailers would have blown my socks off.
As Justin Lee Collins would say “Good Times”.
Congratulations J.J. Abrams for the re-boot of the franchise, it was awesome. A long time since I’ve really enjoyed a movie.
The sound was poor in the cinema which was to be expected, it seemed to only fill out the front speakers near the screen.
Nice pace they didn’t rush too much by trying to bring all the old characters back all in one go.
It’s great the way they just decided to do away with Vulcan, nice use of the alternate timeline so we can do dramatic things.
If I went to a cinema with a decent sound system it would have blown my socks off.
I’m looking forward to the next ones in the series.
