The youtube commenters seem to have discovered buzz, childish and insulting comments now appearing. Please knock it off.
I’m thinking about disabling buzz later. Watch this space.

It would seem there’s a new Twitter DM attack going round. I only noticed it this morning when I received 2 identical DMs (Direct Messages) from 2 accounts.
If you receive a DM that starts with “Haha thats you” then delete the DM, do not click the link on the DM. Because I’m having an off day, I clicked the link without thinking, luckily Firefox was alert to the danger and prevented a faux pas on my behalf.

Give me a break buzz has been out just over a week, doesn’t have the features twitter has and people are jumping on the “twitter sucks” bandwagon.
I think they both have a place in social media.
Tell me why twitter sucks compared to buzz?

Dear Facebook,
Why when a security question is added to your account, why are you not permitted to change the security question on your account?
There are very serious reasons why people may want to change their security question which I’m sure as a social media, online company you are aware of.
This to me seems a little short sighted by yourselves. I hope in the advances you make in 2010, you put this high on your list of priorities.
After reading Chris Pirillo’s latest Lockergnome that landed in my inbox about your founder’s speech, there are still users out there that expect a certain amount of privacy. Not everyone out there has the best of intentions, so lets not throw the privacy baby out along with the bathwater just yet and make it easy for your users to feel safe.

I’ve now added the Tweetmeme Plugin, according to the site it’s only compatible to wordpress version 2.8.4. However it appears to be working fine here. Let me know what you think in the comments below.

If you are following my @wizzardsblog tweet stream you will have noticed a sponsored tweet on my timeline. I admit that this may cause some to unfollow, as my tweet stream doesn’t seem to hold much value at the moment, just a place to feed my blog to.
This isn’t going to be huge earner for me in the long run until I use the stream a lot more, I didn’t take the decision lightly to be paid to tweet, however I just decided I needed a way of boosting my income.
Be rest assured, all tweets that are sent are screened by me. There will be no sponsored tweets to “adult” related services, I’m sure you all know what I mean when I mention these services.
I’m not going to lose sleep if you do unfollow that’s just the way of the internet world.

Okay I’m calling all of you out that are mocking or grumbling about the DM spam they’ve been getting yesterday and today. Why not be helpful and @reply them, they may not realise that their accounts have been compromised.
It takes about a minute to be helpful in this regard.

Why is Friday flying by so quickly? Here in good old blighty it’s 2.36 in the afternoon.
I must admit that I didn’t go to bed until at least 4am, was taking part in an early morning/late evening (depending where you are in the world) ustream session with the legendary Gary Vaynerchuk. I don’t think he ever sleeps.
