This is my first ever wine tasting.
I chose Blossom Hill California Merlot 2007.
My nose seemed to be pretty good, first of all I could smell vanilla, then after a while with the bottle opened for a while I could also got a hint of red cherry.
My palate however didn’t fare so well, it totally overwhelmed my “virgin” palate.
It’s only until the last few minutes that I could taste red cherry on my front palate.
Nice wine overall.
I definitely need some pointers on how to develop my palate further.
