July 2009 is coming to a close, the country is still in the grips of a recession that shows no sign of coming to end, there are some encouraging signs though esepcially where the housing market is concerned.

We endured the deaths of much loved, iconic people, Farah Fawcett, Walter Cronkite and Michael Jackson.

We’ve celebrated 40 years since Neil Armstrong set foot on the moon.

We buried more of our brave soldiers, some that have died too young.

After months of foreplay Microsoft and Yahoo finally got down and dirty between the sheets.

Biz Stone got the paint out and revamped the Twitter homepage, turning it into a real time search engine.

Yet another team pulled out of Formula 1. BMW rethinking it’s motorsport activities.

Michael Shumacher the F1 legend will return to the F1 circus, once more turning a wheel in anger to help out Ferrari, whilst Felipe Massa recovers.

It’s been a busy old month. Let’s see what August brings.
