When someone says to me that they’re “old school” automatically makes me think they haven’t moved with the times, they’re stuck in the past. My eyes have been opened in recent years.
I used to think old school was great, it meant old values, the good old days, now I just think that the old ways aren’t always the best.
Old school can also mean closed mind, someone who doesn’t want to listen to knew ideas, they just brush them aside without a moments consideration, happy in their comfort zone, then boom, something comes along to rock their cosy little world and they spend the rest of their careers/lives playing catchup.
Learn to move with the times or become one of the dinosaurs, extinct.
