Busy day today, I have 2 dentist appointments, yes you heard it correctly the first time, not 1 but 2 appointments.
Regular check up this morning with my local-ish dentist. Then I’m off to Birmingham this afternoon to continue fittings for new teeth.
Then a whole lot of stuff in between, it’s going to be like a sandwich.

That’s another month consigned to the history books. Now we are into the final quarter of the year. This year is going by fast.
I’ve got a couple of dentist appointments this month, one at my usual dentist, then the following day I’m back to Birmingham Dental Hospital for the next stage in my treatment.
I’m going back to college one evening a week starting next week. I’ll be retaking GCSE Maths after a gap of 19 years. Need this to plug a gap and improve my job prospects.

This post is dedicated to a site called “Birmingham: It’s Not Shit”. I’m going to post it in my blogroll later.
I was born in Solihull just outside of Birmingham in 1974. Even though I never lived in Birmingham and left the area soon after i was born, I still class myself as a brummie and I’m proud of it.
No Birmingham is not shit, it’s got a rich history, iconic buildings like the Rotunda. As said on the site, it’s spawned the extremely funny Jasper Carrot.
I love the city centre, I’ve been back several times to the Dental Hospital and think to myself what a great place to be.
There is a diverse mix of cultures, a great atmosphere and friendly people.
So come on folks, give Birmingham a go, come and see for yourself what Birmingham has to offer.

Back to Birmingham tomorrow to have this plastic appliance fitted as mention in my previous dental post. It’s going to be a fun few months ahead, hopefully it won’t take too long to get used to it.
I’m imagining it to be similar to a gum shield a rugby player or boxer would wear. I could however be completely wrong.
I shall be posting photos of said appliance, don’t worry I’ll wash it first

As you are probably aware today I had another appointment at Birmingham Dental Hospital. I’ve got to go back next Thursday, 2nd July to have a plastic appliance fitted to widen my bite, to see if I can tolerate having it widened to have false teeth fitted.
Things are slowly moving on.

Yes finally we have some more sunshine, hopefully it’ll last for the whole day, whilst I’m over in Birmingham again.
Got another appointment at the dental hospital.
