Apologies to everyone that received a spam message from my richard.arblaster gmail account, it seems that my account had been infiltrated by a spam/phishing bot.
The password was changed last night.
Do not under any circumstances click the link contained within that email, just delete it.
As a precaution change your gmail password.
Rest assured that email was definitely NOT sent by me, I hate both types of spam the email/snail mail/leaflet and the real life meat variety.

Oh no not yet another person posting about how to use twitter. It’s like teaching my grandmother how to suck eggs, I already know how to use it.
If that’s the case why do you follow me with name123456789? Then spam me your latest get rich quick scheme and because I don’t follow you back you drop me like a sack of potatoes. Well guess what, I’ll never ever follow you back.
If you want me to follow you please use your real name or at least the name of your blog or website (as long as it isn’t a site trying to sell me the latest internet marketing gumpf).
Put up an avatar the default o_O doesn’t instill me with a lot of confidence.
Put up a little bio about yourself.
Most important of all I like to see @ replies, it shows that you are interacting with your followers.
If you are a well known person in the media, then get your account verified by twitter, then I know you are the real deal.
As Gary Vaynerchuk (@garyvee) says it’s not about the numbers.

It seems I’m getting an influx of dating and porn spammers following me lately, on my @R_Arblaster and @wizzardsblog accounts.
I can find my own dates thank you, just that I’m enjoying the single life too muich at the moment to go looking for a relationship.
I can find plenty of porn on the internet that’s what google is for.
Feel free to follow me, I however won’t be following you back. When I get a spare few moments you will be blocked (when twitter stops breaking vital functions).

Spam comments
Sorry if you are a genuine commenter and your comment ends up in my spam queue it will be deleted without being read. Wading through hundreds of spam comments to find genuine ones is time consuming and takes my time from other stuff.
