This article on digitalspy made me shake my head.
Yes we do need health and safety to prevent accidents, what about kids that have sight defects? That need the goggles so they can see properly. I speak from experience, I’ve suffered from short sightedness since the age of 10 and when I used to go to the swimming pool, I couldn’t see a thing because I didn’t have goggles. Nothing mentioned about potential eye strain.
There are pescription goggles out there for kids, but under this new ruling they’d be banned from using them unless their eyes become irritated by the chemicals in the water.
So parents smother your kids in cotton wool so they don’t feel the affects of the big bad world and then wonder why they end up in hospital with a huge infection because their bodies haven’t been allowed to build up an immunity.
Fly me to the moon somebody!!!
