It completely sucks. The implementation is horrible. Having to dedicate a whole forum just for comments is ludicrous, I see no other content management system out there with that requirement.

Another thing that really irks me is the articles and comments count towards your post count, if that doesn’t encourage post count padding I don’t know what does.

Sure there’s option to have the comments forum not count towards the post count, that’s been in there for as long as I can remember, still doesn’t get around the fact that there is no option to prevent articles from adding to the overall post count.

Having a seperate “Articles:” line on the postbit for me may go some way to fixing this little problem.

I could say a whole lot more, but I think that is enough to chew on for the moment.
