This thought has been going around in my head for quite some time now. When you are looking for information on the net, whether it’s just to further your knowledge or you’re doing research for an article. Do you base your entire research on what you find on Wikipedia, you don’t bother looking at other sources?
We all know that you can sign up for a wikipedia account and make any edits that you like and may not be entirely accurate or true, this is why I don’t rely solely on Wikipedia, sure there are some great nuggets of information on there that are 100% accurate/true.
I also tend to look at the written word as well, I’ll go down to my local library, also gives you a chance to get away from the computer screen for a while.
So do you trust Wikipedia 100%?
